The best way to try and interpret ourselves is that we are a little bit of everything and sometimes nothing at all. We, categorized as Gothic, are viewed as a romantic Bohemian-type subculture that doesn't seem to have a need to gain prevolent value, yet are able to commune with tolerance and understanding towards all individuals. Compassionate in everything we do and why we do it, almost like having purpous to make your own luxury in this World. We personally view Gothic as being our form of expressing individuality, elegance, sophistication, and creativity. All who are involved with VelvetWine are very morbidly ~ themselves. Similar in many ways but with enough differences to be set apart. Creative souls who express their talents and feel a need to share with those who can appreciate our form of unique beauty.
We write articles with Gothic decorating, fashion, weddings, family, and holiday ideas for you to abuse the ideas and make them your own. One of a kind, or limited production items are all we offer, because we grew tired of the same figurines, clothing, decorations, jewelry, etc. rotated around over and over again. Different places, same mass produced items. We bought those things because they would suffice until we could make them better, and then we found time to make our own instead. Next, we made them for each other, and now we make them for you. And when we get tired of making something, we move onto a completely new idea. This method offers us extreme satisfaction to know that our work will be valued.
